Tuesday is the last day to stock up on two items that I am loving at Smiths this week.
Boneless pork loin roast (in the vacuum sealed packages) is just $1.29/pound. Get a few, cut them up and freeze them! I always post when this comes on super sale because it is so versatile. You can cut it into thick chops and stuff them, slice thinly to quick fry, roast it or do pulled pork, including the cafe rio pork recipe posted here. It's boneless, it's delicious, and it's cheap!
The other item you just have to pick up is the Kroger cheese. It is 99c for 8oz (bars or shredded), and there is no limit. They have lots of different kinds including monterey jack, colby, extra sharp, marbled, Italian blend, pizza blend and nacho blend. You can freeze cheese although it is more crumbly after it has been frozen so it will be better for recipes than sandwiches. :)

We freeze cheese but let thaw out (on the counter) for 24 hours before using it - and it doesn't crumble. Now, if you have any problems leaving cheese out for that long, don't do it. We've never had any problems (mold, sickness, etc.) and have been using this method for over 10 years.
Great deal! I snagged 20 lbs of pork for pulled pork for a large dinner I have to put together. Thanks for the tip!
Emily, thanks for the tip.
Rachel, I am glad you were able to cash in on this. :) I stocked up my freezer too!
